Travel Schedule
Day 1
Rochester/Cape Town
Day 5-7
Lion Sands Private Reserve
 

Depart Rochester for Cape Town, via Detroit and Amsterdam.

  Board a flight to Lion Sands located in the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, adjacent to Kruger National Park. It is the only property to have substantial access to the perennial Sable River, ensuring an incredible diversity of wildlife all year round. Lion Sands River Lodge (B,L,D).
Day 2
Cape Town
Day 8
Johannesburg
  Upon arrivql in Cape Town, you will be met and transferred by a Ker & Downey representative to the President Hotel.   Return to the airport for a flight to Johannesburg where you will be met and transferred to the Melrose Arch Hotel. (B)
Day 3
Cape Town
Day 9-10
Victoria Falls
  After breakfast, enjoy a full day guided tour of Cape Point. Travel around Table Mountain towards the southern suburbs and the Kirstenboch National Botanical Gardens. From here, proceed along the False Bay coastline to Boulders Beach to visit a colony of jackass penguins. Then onto the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. (B,L)   In the morning, return to the airport for a flight to Victoria Falls and transfer to the Victoria Falls Hotel (B).
 
Cape Town
Day 11-12
Chobe National Park
  Lunch will be served at an intimate restaurant. In the afternoon, return home via the beautiful coastline of the Atlantic Ocean, along Ou Kaapse Weg (Old Cape Way). Stop at Hout Bay nestled in the shadow of Karbonkelberg with The Sentinel standing guard over the boats in the picturesque harbor. (B,L)  

Transfer from Victoria Falls Hotel to Chobe National Park and your accommodations at Muchenje Safari Lodge which offers a variety of optional safari and game viewing activities including game drives, walking safaris and river cruises. Muchenje Safari Lodge (B,D)

Day 4
Cape Town
Day 13
Johannesburg
  In the morning embark on a full-day guided Cape Winelands Tour. South Africa's Winelands have been described as the most beautiful and scenic in the world. Lunch will be at the renowned Le Quartier Français restaurant in Franschhoek, recent winner of two highly coveted awards in Wine Magazine.   Return to the airport and depart for Johannesburg. Upon arrival in Johannesburg, transfer to the Holiday Inn for a day room Your flight to Amsterdam departs at 10:40 pm. Holiday Inn, Day Room (B)
 
Cape Town
Day 14
Amsterdam / Rochester
  In the afternoon, take a drive to Paarl - named after the huge granite rock that towers above it, which according to the first settlers, it shines like a pearl in the sun. Enjoy a final wine tasting, before returning. (B,L)   Arrive in Amsterdam and connect with your flight to Rochester, via Detroit. Welcome home!
